Dual Token Mechanism

DRESSdio's dual token mechanism is designed around two tokens: DRESS and DP (DRESSdio Points).

This dual token mechanism is designed to keep the project ecosystem running sustainably and efficiently by interacting with each other through the unique roles and functions of each token.

1. Token Overview

1. DRESS Token

   • Role: The DRESS token is the main utility token in the ecosystem, used primarily for purchasing NFTs, trading on exchanges, and swapping to DP tokens via bridges.

   • Uses:

     • Exchanges: DRESS tokens can be traded on external exchanges, which provides liquidity.

     • NFT purchases (coming soon): Individual consumers will be able to purchase a variety of Design & Artwork NFTs using DRESS tokens.

     • Token Swap: DRESS tokens can be swapped for DP (DRESSdio Points) via a bridge.

     • Rewards (upcoming): DRESS token holders will be rewarded based on certain conditions, such as staking, to incentivize long-term holding.

2. DP (DRESSdio Points)

   • Role: DPs are tokens that operate on a private chain separate from the DRESS token, and are primarily used to reward activity on the platform and purchase certain NFTs, with a fixed value mechanism (1 DP = 0.01 USDT).

   • Uses:

     • Activity Rewards: DRESSdio users can earn DP through various activities such as community activities, event participation, etc.

     • NFT purchases: DPs are primarily used to purchase Product NFTs.

     • Rewards: DP holders may be given additional rewards based on the quantity and duration of their holdings.

2. Interaction Between Tokens

• Token Swap via Bridge

  • DRESSdio users can swap DRESS tokens for DPs, which is done through a bridge. The swapped DPs can only be used on the private chain and can also be converted back to DRESS tokens. The rate and conditions of this swap process are dynamically determined by the market price of DRESS tokens.

• Exchange Trading

  • DRESS tokens are listed on exchanges, allowing users to buy and sell them freely. The value of DRESS tokens changes with price fluctuations on the exchange, which also affects the swap to DP.

• Interacting with the community

  • DRESSdio users can earn DPs through their activities within the community. For example, activity on communities like Twitter(X) or Discord, participation in project-related events, etc.

• Purchase NFTs

  • DRESS and DP tokens will be used to purchase different types of NFTs based on their respective uses. Initially, DP will be used to purchase Custom and Merchandise NFTs, while DRESS tokens will be used to purchase mainly Design & Artwork NFTs in the future, in addition to DP swaps.
